This is a fun and slightly sweet dressing which works very well in the summer and for picknicks and cookouts.
It works well on plain salad but also nicely on salads with chicken, pork or salmon.
You can also use it as a marinade or sauce on chicken, pork, salmon or turkey.
In making the dressing with the whole grain mustard recipe, make sure you let the mustard mellow for a few days to allow the flavors to blend and make the taste a little milder. Adding the mayonnaise rounds the mustard taste nicely but you can omit the mayonnaise which allows the dressing to last better especially on warm days.
